Hmm,
these units are truly great. Will wait for this mod to be sure.
I saw in the list that
Tarabon:
King’s Life Guard- ?
Panarch’s Legion- ?

needed soemthing. Couldn't you make up that ByzantineInfantry unit Xen had a picture of in the same post as the ItalianKnight. Or the Varanginien Guards with the Axe. They both seam to be able and willing to do some battle with that Italian Knight in this mod.
Hope you can make some cool units to flavour up this mod and it will be a hit.

Good luck to you...

Thanks cemo.
I might use those units to fill in those slots, but I've got a couple of others to take care of first. Coming up next will either be the Legion of the Wall, Kandori, or Domani soldier based on the artwork posted 2 pages back. The Byzantine Infantry would probably work well for one of the two (KLG or PL), but I'm not sure about having an axeman unit as the personal army of either a King or a Panarch. Seems to me like that would be better filled by a sword or spear/pike wielding unit. But I may be wrong about that.

I did some work this afternoon on the Kandori model and this is what I've got so far.

In the two civ-scaled examples, I changed the color of the mustache & goatie to black so it was more visible. I'll still work with it until I get it the way I like... it's not there yet. I also haven't decided on which helmet or sword yet. I obviously don't want a helmet that'll cover up the facial hair, and I'll probably lean more towards a martial arts style blade since that is the general make-up of the Borderland civ's units so far.

I'll probably post a preview of the Legion of the Wall soon enough. I'm still hoping for a few things, before I get to work on it.

Later, :)

Was it the Kandori who had 2 swords? I seem to remember them that way... and something about 2 pony tails... or that could be Arafel. Either way, it's looking good.:)

I just double checked in the big white book, and it is Arafel where the guys have 2 large braids (usually with silver bells in them) and carry 2 swords. The Kandori men are the ones with forked beards and often wear chains over their coats. I don't think it's possible for me to create a forked beard with the prop I have, but I'll do what I can with it.

OK, barring any serious critiques this is the final version for the Kandori model. I've added the sword and helmet, tweaked a couple of the textures so that all of the armor matches up, and since I couldn't get the beard to fork I instead gave him a fu man chu. So here you go. :)

I've got quite a bit of work coming up next week, so hopefully I'll be able to finish up some of the animations over the weekend.

The Fu Man Chu looks good... in civ size there's no way to see a forked beard.;) Got a question for ya... does yoru Aiel Unit Pack have the Maiden in it?

Thanks to Kinboat's wonderful new armor model, and a couple small modifications of my own, I've finished up the model for the Legion of the Wall unit for Ghealdan. And here it is:

I wanted to switch things up a bit since the Guardian of the Gate, the Kandori, and also the Domani are all sword units, and I figured the Legion of the Wall was the perfect unit to do it. Let me know what you think.

Excellent as always :goodjob:

Hey guys, its looking really good so far, I'm excited :). I was wondering, what are your plans for implementing the rebirth of the Dragon (ie Rand). You mentioned earlier about having him upgradable, which is probably essential, but who gets to build him? Are the Asha'man linked to him exclusively?
My thought was that you could make 'The Dragon Reborn' a tech and wonder toward the end, which produces the initial 'farmboy' Rand unit and then has its own tech thread nobody else can then follow (BTW I don't really know if any of this is even possible, but anyway), allowing upgrades to Rand and perhaps instant creation of Great Leaders (ie Perrin, Mat), culminating in the Black Tower wonder, which though producing very powerful Asha'man units turns every single other nation (excluding the Aiel perhaps) against the nation that builds it.
...as I said, I don't know if this is possible, or even at all desirable, but it is a thought I had.

Thanks Steel General. :)
As for an update... I've only got 2 animations left to complete the Legion of the Wall unit, so barring any major incidents I should have it done some time tommorrow. Then it's on to the Kandori. I really want to get these 2 units posted before I disappear for a couple weeks. Don't want to leave you guys hanging. :)

Unfortunately, most of this isn't possible.

Haven't come across anything yet. But to be fair, I haven't made that intense a search as of yet. I'm still traveling about, and won't make it back home until next week... that is, if the airlines come through with my luggage sometime soon. Until then, my online activity will be somewhat limited. If you (or anyone else for that matter :D ) have got something in mind, I'd be glad to hear it.

I've been out for the holidays more than I had planned, so I haven't done much hunting myself.
