There's two other mods, with Santa Anna and Hidalgo, but could never get into them, Hidalgo didnt lead the country or achieved independece (and fun fact we dont know how he actually looked like) and being Mexican, I cant play Santa Anna without feeling dirty.

Juarez, Cardenas and Diaz are all good choices, but I think you guys were right i going with Juarez, its the more iconic figure.

More Civs is also doing a Mexico slightly different from my ideas using Guadalupe Victoria as their leaderhead.

-Leugi to increase level of control in Brazil by incorporating the Tupi tribes into his empire, increasing tensions with Firaxis.
-Homusubi to deploy troops to Ryukyu due to the threat of an invasion by Hiram.
-Mesopotamian tensions to continue rising as Hiram stakes a claim to the region in the form of Mitanni.
