OOC: I'm basing basing off my knowledge of Albanian religiosity from this Wiki article, which says Albanians are traditionally pragmatic when it comes to religion.

@Azale, everyone south of Kiev hates you. THis includes Ukraines, Georgians, Khazaks, Turkestanis, Turks, and Mongols among others. In addition most people NORTH of Kiev dislike you, including Finns, Byelorus, Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, and Poles. So to answer your questions, yes, the Turks do hate you, about the same as everyone else.

One such minister, "Amon Wei" has incredible amounts of sway within the imperial court. While he is devotedly loyal to China and to the Empress, he sees some things wrong with the route at which China is going and persuaded the empress to fund the private sector with resources currently used in the military. This minister is also the one who set up the marriage between Empress Longyu and Longwang of Pyongyang.

In otherwords blockades will no longer become an effective tool of war; any ship wqishing to cross a blockade will be protected under international law. I ask the united States how it would feel if it went to war, enacted a blockade, only to see every ship come in and out simply because it doesnt fly the colors of a nation at war. I can not see how 11 nations have seriously considered this to be enacted, it is as foolhardy as a worldwide currency, or abolition of trade tariffs as previously shot down by super majority.

Few people will continue to a port when faced with an 8 inch naval gun. This resolution is not meant to make blockading illegal; blockading is an ancient and generally bloodless way of defeating an enemy. The resolution is meant to discourage from sea captains from nations at war becoming pirates and attacking, boarding, or sinking any ship they may come across on the open seas. It is also meant to discourage rampant Submarine Warfare from destroying every single freighters it sees on the high seas, but to rather focus on those of its enemy nations.

OOC: I see a BIG contradiction between your statement and sig. Blockades are in no way bloodless. Neither are seiges. Would you rather be shot, killing you instantly, or have to suffer along with the rest of your nation starvation and a slow, unstoppable death looming over you?

Eire is concerned about the prospect of making Blockades 'illegal' as it is an effective peaceful tool for applying pressure to nations that arent listening to reason.
While we see no mention of it in the resolution itself we would like some clarification upon the matter, as we are concerned on the specifics.
