If you believe / they put a base on the moon, base on the moon

:band::eekdance:

Thanks for the REM/Andy Kaufman flashback. That song's gonna be in my head all weekend. :crazyeye:

If you chase two moons, you will lose them both.

You can get a lot more with a base and a moon than you can get with just a moon.

Moon me once, shame on you. Moon me twice, shame on me!

The man who moves a moon, begins by carrying away a small stone.

Moon bases are okay but the problem is that they take way too many hammers to build, you basically can't even consider it if you're playing Imm or Deity.

Your starting set-up has a big impact too. If you're near Monty or even Shaka, you can forget it. You start setting yourself up for a moon base and they'll run right over you.

I know it's bonus (doubles net beaker output) is nice but it's not the best modern wonder out there. I usually go for the Time Machine (double production with Uranium which is pretty easy to get) so I can send my Modern Armour back to the Medieval period and wipe out Gandhi to prevent him from getting that bloody cultural victory two turns before I launch my bloody spaceship.

Does anyone ever get moon bases by knocking over a goodie hut?

(On a T-shirt) I teched Genetics by myself, built 5 fuselage parts and all I got was this crummy moon base.

Learn a man how to build a moon base, and you'll please him for a day. Learn a man to build two moonbases, and you'll please him for a lifetime.
