They've pushed it too far

Arafat has made a good first step - he declared all terror orgenizations illigal.... But I really don't think it'll help. There's something suspicious about him doing it on the same day the US is officialy declaring these orgenization as terror orgenizations...

And Arafat will arrest 10 people, and Israel will withdraw and there will be relative quiet for 2 weeks, and then all over again.

There are 3 solutions, only two of them are sane enough to implement :
1) Unilateral separation - Good for short range, sucks for medium range and sucks for the long range.
2) War on the PA now - Bad for short range, great for medium range, sucks for long range.
3) Transfer - SUCKS for short range, same thing about medium range, and I dont know what to say about the long range.

If we dont implement of these(one of the first two of course) solutions we will experience this circle every month all over again.

I dunno... I think before the murder of Ze'evi we had a good thing going... Israel withdrowing, the PA under a lot of pressure to stop terrorism...

Dammit! I burnt my pizza because I was posting. Oh well, thats the worst of my problems today.

I think you should dump bombers full of pig-guts on them, like you suggested we do to the Taliban. ;)

In 1991, my infantry battalion served as observers (speedbumps) in the Sinai during Desert Sheild/Storm.

How old are you guys anyway? Do you/did you have to serve in the military? Its manditory right?

We will probably have to get used to armed soldiers on our streets in America, like Isreal does.

Arafat said that he would arrest all terrorists? Hmm...

So how come he's still free?

The PLO isn't any different than the Libyan terrorists or Iranians of the 80's.

He has a selective memory...it is v.useful for ALL politicians...

Arafat is not willing to really control them, so he signs agreements with them to stop the fire. But eventually, because they are not in jails, something happens. Then Israel gets in. Shimon starts whining and asking for a meetingw ith Arafat. They meet, and Israel withdraws. There are 3 days of quiet. Something happens...

Let me guess you support the likud... I'll stick with the labor party :)
Anyway, before the attack there was a significant decrease in the number of attacks, so someone must've done something right...

I dont support any party in our stupid corrupt system.

Yes, there was a decrease in violence, but this is not enough. And as always one major even that will happen will screw up the whole bussiness.

Our system isn't corrupt in my point of view... People are cheating a little here and there, but they're caught & punished, and I don't think in any case it really mattered.
