Good evening sir!

After the 5th or 6th new poster started a "Hi, I'm here" or "PTW sucks" thread in the MP & BPEM forum today, it occured to me that they think thats the correct place for it.

The newbs think the Multiplayer Forum = PTW forum.

Perhaps the Civ3 Gen Discussion forum needs to be changed to Civ3 & PTW Gen Disc., and maybe add "games" after MP & PBEM.

No biggie, but I'm between turns right now, and got bored.

Actually I think it would be nice if a new forum was added: PTW Discussions. This forum would be for topics that strictly deal with PTW, in other words topics that someone without PTW wouldn't be interested in (including your linked thread). Not only would this probably solve the problem you're talking about, it would also solve my little problem: having to scroll down thread after thread talking about PTW in Civ3 GD, when I don't have PTW yet. This is also no biggie, more of a minor nuisance.

TF has already said there will "Never!" be a PTW forum

We already have too many forums in the Civ3 side. Besides, Civ3 isn't complete much w/o PTW....

I wasnt asking for new forums, there are plenty abound.

I dont mind newbies either, I like to welcome them (my initial CFC experience was getting insulted by Greame the mad ).

It would clear up confusion for new posters if the title was changed though, to Civ3 & PTW Gen Dis.

i have never been in there so i wouldnt know but maybe you should chaneg all the titles like civs strategy and tips put+PTW or summin like that

Or maybe just make an announcement in MP that that section is not meant to be the PTW forum.

I guess changing Multiplayer and PBEM to "Multiplayer and PBEM--NOT PTW discussions!!!" would work.
