Still, it was a bit strange. I still do usually associate Napoleon with Panda...

Oh? I am a deal more megolomanaical than he. :D

Anyone know if the 'Build Often' settings in the editor actually affect the AI?

Yes.

;).

A civ will not build something from the "Build never" or "untagged" list unless a) there is nothing with "build often" it can build, or b) there is no space left (so it will cut back on the settlers) and things of similar nature.

They will not build something on the "build never" list unless there is nothing left in the build queue.

Actually, we have three nations with those stats, at least.

Not mine, though. :)

yeah hopefully daft will also increase the costs.

@Daft: I assume this units will not have the "Starts golden age" trait. I would suggest having some "uber unit" that starts golden ages that you can assign to various civs in the debug mode for one battle or so to give them a golden age when it seems appropriate.

Why is no one else going for unique buildings? Am I the only one who played TAM?

What's the point of these?

Thanks again,

Want me to write about more UUs Daft?

Up to you, i will probably rebuild the scenario at some point (kinda like a 'boring time' thing), so there will probably be a chance to add new units, civs etc later on.

As for the graphics, theres quite a few units sharing graphics now, hope thats ok. I wanted to stick with the firaxis stuff for continuity, and in case anyone wants to download the scenario.

Arh I see, that is good to know :) thanks!

I cant create or reassign units in debug mode (unless you know a way?). I could do this via save editing though, ill see how it works. At the moment, ive set it so that the ancient units dont trigger a golden age at all.

@Das, i wasnt sure if you wanted chinese rider, or mongolian keshik, or some custom graphic for your Baghatur UU. Ive gone with the chinese rider at the moment, but i can change it later.

@Insane_Panda, the only thing i can think of that's like the conquistador, but without a dog, is the arabic 'ansar warrior'. But i guess thats too exotic-looking.

OK i will start this tommorrow, once ive added the great nation of Anguile. I also added a load of NPC's (some potential revolters/seperatists) and changed to a bigger map today, still need to test that a bit too.

Chinese Rider is what I had in mind - Keshik doesn't look armoured enough, whereas Baghatur (based on my UU in the stNNES3 that ironically enough had its greatest victory when fighting the Mongoo. I still regret that the NES died before I could start my great holy war against Tartessos...) is heavy cavalry.

NES newbies are welcome ? if they're here my civ details if tyher are'nt ignore that message :)

if 5th impossible then replaces the Jet Fighter, F-15 graphic, +1 defense, +1 Operational Range

Not very good at that but..
Little Background: The Jewish people experienced many adventures throguh many places, they've been suffering and they've been living happy, they'd bad and good periods. but Waihman said 'ENOUGH' for useless traveling around and on our gifted land!
David Ben Waihman is a very convincing ruler, and had built his own strong army and decided to return his nation's lands to who they are belong too.
Waihman's wish kept and raised more and more and he had a kingdom called 'The Jewish Kingdom' they were peacfully but could'nt stand the people who was trying to destroy everything that has been build by the jews.
and now Waihman is fighting for keeping his people happy and pleased and he will never stop the fight for the peacefull world.

hope that's good bg :) hehe 1st time in this deal you know .

Israelite will kill you. ;) Welcome in!

Oh, and as a word of friendly advice, add Hadera to your city list. Its a precaution that may help you survive. :p

isn't Oved too overpowering? the point of multiple UU's is because they expire... this one doesn't :p

It on the other hand isn't a combat unit, so...

Btw, I dare anyone to make a combat unit armed with a shovel! Then I will be able to make "stroybat" jokes.

It's precisely that it isn't a combat unit that makes it overpowering though... it basically mean he can develop his empire 25% faster than all of you :p
