Darn it all, I still suck at this game, yet mention about this game elsewhere has made me shrug off my multi-month hiatus to give it a go again.

Starting from scratch, not reloading an old game. Maybe I'll get past the discovery of tanks this time without my civ imploding from lack of cash.

If lack of Cash is the problem, you really should switch to Republic as soon as you can. Work the slider as you can and remember to switch workers to Tax Collectors not Entertainers to control unhappiness. Money should not be a problem that way.

Oh, I *know* that. Believe me. I usually get hammered in the middle of the Middle Ages.

But this time I seem to be doing okay, and hope to have a culture flip from Germany Real Soon Now in my babylonian game, what with my building Great Wonders left and right in their faces.
