To the mod team here -

I thought T-brd did some clean up in Rev before v37 release.

*Nod* Okay, when I get a chance, I'll try a new game using it. I'll try to report back to see if it's working reasonably well - although I expect that it's going to interact... interestingly, with the revised criminal units.

I'd really appreciate that, thanks. My earlier experience with Revolutions (with v36 I believe) was that it wasn't really such a threat (the spawning units were way too weak and way too few in numbers).

The biggest problem I noticed with it under v36 was that the AIs didn't cope well with it; it was a huge handicap for them, so much so that the recommendation was to not use it.

More testing and reports is Always Appreciated. ;)

Personal opinion here so take it as such, a Deity player imhpo should never use Revolutions as it gives the deity player an advantage. Any system like Rev that tears down normal good prosperous AI empires is a Deity player exploit to me. Even though Rev was designed for that purpose. Players below deity level have less of an advantage and it can be a decent challenge to overcome just like the AI has to do. Lower level players then have a more balanced play with rev on, again imhpo. I dislike Rev tremendously, always have since kalimachus introduced it as an add-on for RoM 1.0 way back in 2007.

But you all have fun with it. Maybe in the near future T-brd can do some more work on it. ( I won't. ;) )
