33 here and I love Civ series - First played Civ on Amiga A500 centuries ago :D

Im 20 Now :)

the first version i played was civ 1 for SNES lol

I remember playing that game about 7 years ago. If it is the one I have in mind. Did it have natural disasters like earthquakes and volcanoes in it? And some flag (or something) that made the unit holding it dam near impossible to kill? I'm almost certain it wasn't SimCity for SNES, as I own that.

You're too old to play Civ when you're dead.

20 in about 5 months and 7 days time.

Parents are gelous kuz they couldn't play civ when they were our age. :smug: :D

I'm jealous because I couldn't play when I was young. For heaven's sake, nobody even had television when I was young...only radio to listen to. :p

I'll be 65 in a couple of months and will be retiring next April. I'm looking forward to playing "just one more turn" for as long as I please with no alarm clock to worry about in the mornings. Then it's you young 'uns who'll be jealous. :D :smug:

Oh come now, sleep is optional for us teenagers. I've gone (close to) a week without sleep, I grant you around the 4th and 5th day you begin to see things, but it's still doable.

FYI: for anything approaching two days, caffeine is a must (obviously).

might i ask what exactly you see on the 4th day?

i've gone two days max

Where's the fun in that? Spoil the ending :nono: .

Nothing major, just those wierd spots, like after you rub your eyes for a little while or stand up too quick. And you (well I and another 2 friends anyway) kept seeing things in the corner of our eyes like someone was trying to sneak up on us. But we're the only ones that's happened to.

NEVER DRIVE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

I once saw a Goblin when I was working so many hours in a week that I couldn't keep up with when night ended and day began. I was 33 at the time. The thing looked like the popular 19th century black and white pen and ink variant, except it moved. It was at the foot of my bed. As soon as I tried to focus on it with wide eyes, it vanished.

Strange,no? :crazyeye:

Haha well I'm 20 now, I think it's been 3-4 years since I last posted here. Just picked up the Civilization Chronicles pack and hooked back on Civ!
I'm no longer a 'year 12 student', almost finished my uni degree now. Time flies!

Edit: Wow, I really need to change my sig.. lol. A wrestling signature?

This conversation has gone for so long that I need to change my 'poll' entry! I've gone up the ladder!!!
