Sounds like a bad day in the PI!! Manilla must have gotten reinforcements I didn't foresee? Thought the friendly hills would provide some comfort to the troops sunning themselves above Manilla Bay. Now it sounds like they got thrown into the Bay with nothing but their socks??!!

-my Artilleries and my Airplanes where on fire, only one bombardment failed! The
Infantry Army has 7hp of 11 left and I destroyed several important road tiles
-the only combat happened at Foochow: bombed and attacked the 2 Nipp.
Infantry, one Nipp. killed, one Guerilla lost (because I couldn't see which Infantry
in the stack had only 1hp left when stealth attacking with my Guerilla )

Netherlands:
-no combat
-bombed Paratrooper next to Menado with arty and ships, -1hp

Hey Guys, I'm okay..still fighting this thing..day 7! Its more about sapping strength more than getting worse. Had to take two major naps yesterday. I got the save yesterday but didn't start. Had to help my wife get ready for a business trip and then see her off this am. I'm feeling so-so but well enough to get through my turn today.

Sank the Carrier Zuikaku and the other BB from the Jap Pearl fleet. Redlined the remaining CA and knocked a couple of HPs off the DD for good measure. (If I find you again next turn aksully you'll be in very serious trouble with virtually no escorts left. ie your carriers have the highest defense left in the stack so I can attack them right away).

Lost 3 DDs, 1 sub and a dive bomber.

Sank a Jap DD W of Menado. No losses.

Destroyed the Burma Ind. Army in the mountains SW of Mandalay.

Sank transport, 1 tile N of Sibu

Bombers damaged 1 BB, 1 CA near Rabual

Artillery inflicted 2 hit points on the army near Singapore.

Yeah the Jap strike fleet is a hurting to be sure. This was the first time I used the escorts to attack PH. Now I know why I didn't in the past!! This was due to the fact that I had a terrible turn one air attack. I have a bad feeling about next turn!

-lost Guerilla to Nipp. Infantry north of Foochow.
-killed three Artilleries with the stealth attack ability of my Guerillas (which will be toast soon)

Those darn Guerillas in China are something else. The unit itself is ok but I think its defense rating might be too high and the number available might be too many. Of course I say that because they are killing everything in sight. At least the Jap Silent Service isn't....silent anymore.

Very sneaky manuvering aksully. Most of my subs are off looking in the wrong direction, but 2 of them managed to find your fleet. I lost a Dive bomber to your air cover, and one of the subs, but my torpedo bombers know how to shoot.

Akagi and Kaga are sunk. The escort DD is also sunk. Down to 3 CVs and a 1hp CA.....

Sank what I believe to be Jap subs by sheer accident of having moved DDs on top of them. One N of Tarawa and another NW of Tarawa.
