Ok, here i am, An old grumpy i am.
Came from old tired and angry, really wanted to have some peaceful time with Civilization, but.... where is the beef????? I meant where is the save

Save nowhere to be found... or may be i am just too tired... I'll go look one more time, but in case if i still can't find it please do post it.

EDIT: Ok. I have the save Tubby has masqueraded it behind a single dot.
It is sure wasn't easy to find

if you're going for OCC or 5CC, drop it to small, not standard. 80% water is always good as the byz

pre-turn: Sold all libraries and temples in cities that have expanded borders.
Changed few build orders to temples. rushed some structures. Re-assigned whole bunch of workers.
We don't need railroad in former ottoman and russian land, but instead we need to put rails to Henry's domain for faster troop reallocation. Disbanded longbows and few other obsolete units.

Few of our armies are quit beat up from recent fighting so i will wait couple of turns before declaring.

T1. 960AD. Rushed cavalry and settlers. lots of movements

T2. 970AD. Asked Portugal to leave and they declare. Killed all units on our land and captured Emerita, Lagos and Sagres. Generated leader. Lisbon should fall next turn.

T3. 980AD. Captured Guimaraes, Lisbon and Coimbra.. Portugal is down to one continental city. We need 34 more tiles to limit.

T4. 990AD. Captured Oporto and portugal is gone from our land. Leader generated. Used bunch of settlers to fill all the gaps i could... I wonder if we have enough now for domination.... And... next turn....

IBT: France and Portugal signed trade embargo against us Next message - our people want to build the Iron Works.

and another yet message that history will remember us as Mursilis the Magnificient!!!!

Domination victory is achieved in 1000AD. We beat our Emperor date.
and what is most important old pals Moe, Larry and Curly are still alive and in good health.

I've rolled the saves and it's slim pickings. I'll try to upload them tonight. Good job dman. I had to keep you onyou toes dman. The game was too easy so I had to keep you looking for the save.
