It is possible to sell goods and then buy back at lower price, which then allows you to sell that goods again at the original (higher) price and then buy it back at low price, etc., effectively draining the AI for money. All during the same trade session.
I have only done it playing as the English, trading with the Dutch. I don't know if it is singurlar for this constellation or a general bug (or if it's even a bug or just an exploit).
It seems likely that the AI would not trade that goods again, at least in the same turn.
