Trading Resources to AI

If you have ever played as China on Earth 18 Civ, you may realize how much extra resources you have. I want to find out what the usual GPT should be from AI's for each resource, to know if I'm getting completely ripped off.

Pretty rare you can get maximum GPT from an AI lower than IMM difficulty. A trick to maximize is to give GPT to the AI until he offers it back no more. Then you get the whole GPT for you resource, then 10 turns later, you cancel your freebie GPT. The AI cannot understand he was tricked and you just pushed the AI to financial trouble...indeed, given the handicaps, the AI is never is in financial trouble...but you knooow...

My philosophy is "better something than nothing". Get what you can now...it is all about the "now". Don't worry about getting a fair deal, as you never will. Just renegotiate your trades frequently as usually more GPT will be available later.

Absolutely...you are only hurting yourself otherwise. It's taking gold from the AI and putting it in your pocket. The extra resources mean nothing otherwise.
