i want to know what ur opinion is regardin best traits, number 1 to 11, obviously 1 the best, here's my opinion:
1 Financial
2 Philosophical
3 Industrious
4 Spiritual
5 Creative
6 Organised
7 Charismatic
8 Expansive
9 Imperialistic
10 Aggressive
11 Protective

Ironically, my best ever game (by far) was with Tokugawa! 85,690
Tell me what ur list is and how u agree or disagree with my list.

Financial
Charismatic
After there it gets foggy...

Obviously this is going to depend on game play style, but here are mine (peacemonger/wonderwhore/builder type)

1) Financial
2) Organized
3) Philosophical
4) Industrious
5) Creative
6) Spiritual
7) Expansive
8) Charismatic
9) Protective
10) Aggressive
11) Imperialistic

1. Organized
2. Financial
3. Industrious
4. Expansive
5. Creative
6. Charismatic
7. The Unit bonus Traits
8. Philosophical
9. Spiritualistic.

Best: Financial - overall good
Charismatic - overall good, better for warmongers
Aggressive - warmongers only
Spiritual - overall good
Imperisalistic - expansive/warring civs only
Organized - overall good
Philosophical - only play with peaceful civs
Expansive - never really use
Industrious - peaceful civs only
Protective - never use
Worst: Creative - great for early expansion, useless in later half of game.

I like my military very much.

Warmonger:
I like to have one of those civics: IMP/Cha/Pro/Agg and one of those Org/Fin

That's when I do best. Having 2 traits from the first group might be tempting, but best results are with a combo of one of fighting traits and a large empire supporter trait.

Top: Charismatic, Financial, Philosophical
High: Spiritual, Organized
Middle: Aggressive, Creative, Industrious
Low: Expansive
Bottom: Protective, Imperialistic

No particular order within each tier.

how u agree or disagree with my list.

The only thing I take particular objection with is putting Charismatic as a middle-lower trait. It's one of the best traits. If you don't start off with early luxuries, it may very well be the best trait to have.

1. Organized - Even though Financial is better for me, I like this one because it helps me REX.
2. Financial - It suits me well, as I usually run cottage economies, but I find it a rather broing trait.
3. Charismatic - My favorite of the three militaristic traits, as it also provides a very useful peacetime bonus.
4. Creative - Not having to waste turns on monuments is huge to me, and the cheap libraries mean I can easily get one in nearly every city, which helps research a lot through trade routes.
5. Protective - It's more situational than I'd like, but this trait has saved my butt many times.
6. Philosophical - I don't use Great People as much as I probably should, but I recognize the power of this trait.
7. Expansive - a godsend if you end up on an island chain, otherwise, more of a minor bonus then anything.
8. Aggressive - I'm a peacemonger, so protective suits me better.
9. Industrious - wonders are too risky for my taste.
10. Imperialistic - I don't think it's as bad as a lot of people say, but it's still not good enough in my mind to warrant a trait slot when there are other ones available.
11. Spiritual - I don't like the idea of changing my governemnt on a whim, so this trait is pretty much completely wasted on me.

1 Philosophical, SE>CE, and GP rule (SSE)
2 Financial, ok, ill give it a second place, but I still dont really like it
3 Charismatic, best wartrait
4 Spiritual, good trait, useful for SE's especially, very nice
5 Industrial, cheap forges is good. Not so fond of this one, but for SSE it's useful
6 Creative, not much more then 2 free stonehenges at game start, but useful for fast acces to strat. resources.
7 IMP, 100% GG emergence is huge
8 Organised, easier Rexing, good idea
9 Aggresive, 2nd best wartrait
10 Expansive, good for cheap granaries, easy early whipping/chopping
11 Protective, what should I do with that? CG?? Thats the most useless thing ever, no thanks!

1. Spiritual - I hate anarchy so I like this trait very much.
2. Imperialistic - I always want many cities so it's good with +50% Settler Production
3. Industrious - The +50% Wonder Production is very good for me because wonders give many special things.
4. Financial - It's good with extra money so you don't have to think so much on the economy but I can go without it.
5. Organized - -50% Civic Upkeep is good but not so very very good.
6. Expansive - +1 health is good and cheap granaries but there are better things.
7. Philosophical - What I think is good with Philosophical is the extra Great People production, they're good but I don't care so very much about them.
8. Charismatic - Charismatic is good because it gives +1 happiness from monuments but that's not much and I don't declare war so I don't have any war except when any leader has a very bad relation with me (and he/she declares war) and that's mean I don't need the XP bonuses.
9. Creative - I've never thinked about what's special with Creative so I can't place it high...
10. Protective - I don't defend my cities so very much, have good relations with neighbors, build the Great Wall 99% of my games (I think) and I almost everytime play with the "Always peace"-setting so I don't need this trait.
11. Aggressive - I never go into war by myself so this trait seems useless to me.

Can't really rate them in order so, my favorites;

Love: Phi, Chm, Cre, Agg, Exp, Imp, Org

Indifferent: Ind, Spi, Pro

Hate: Fin

I don't put enough emphasis on traits in my games to really rate which is better. I have ones I like, and ones I don't like. Either way I end up at the same end eventually. I don't swap around goals and overall strats because of traits. Each one helps me with the same goal (conquest). Just in different ways. Some of the Greatest conquests I've ever had were with traits and civs that are hardly "warmongers".

I hate playing without organized...waiting for cities to reach 8 pop before you can whip courthouses makes me want to cry!
charismatic and creative are also favorites of mine

It's hard to rate them but here is a rough scale

Top: Financial, Philosophical
High: Charismatic, Spiritual, Industrious
Middle: Aggressive, Creative
Low: Expansive, Organized, Imperialistic
Bottom: Protective

But as far as what I like Spiritual, Philosophical, Charismatic and Industrious are my favourites (probably in that order). With Financial &Creative my second tier, Aggressive & Expansive being third tier. I really couldn't care less for the other 3 but maybe I'm not using them right or maybe because I'm only playing on Noble.

For my play style they are like ordered in this way:
1 Industrious
2 Philosophical
3 Spiritual
4 Creative
5 Expansive
6 Imperialistic
7 Aggressive
8 Organised
9 Charismatic
10 Financial
11 Protective

Where is the love for Charismatic? If you snag Stonehenge that is +2 happy in all your cities up to Astronomy. \o/

Well my list would probably be;

1)Financial
2)Philosophical
3)Aggressive
4)Charismatic
5)Creative
6)Organized
7)Spiritual
8)Industrious
9)Expansive
10)Imperialistic
11)Protective

Though I wouldn't say there was much to choose between traits 4-8. Industrious also varies drastically with difficulty level.
