We haven't organized a multiplayer game in a long while, but I'm trying again.

I've been playing a succession of two player games with illram, who has been mostly kicking my butt.

Is this the same rules as axis and allies? The board looks different. Is there a single player mode? I have the old hasbro interactive axis and allies game. It was kinda cool, single player was a joke though. All you had to do as axis was buy a ton of tanks and invade russia. As allies you could dump all your money into research until you got heavy bombers because axis was never aggressive enough.

I have Triple A and have been interested in playing some "Axis and Allies"-like games for some time now.

The board in the picture is called "Big World" but there's another board that I guess looks like the actual board game. I only played the actual board game once, very long ago, so I don't know. I think it's the same rules, but there are optional rules, such as "Larry Harris Tournament Rules Heavy Bombers" which makes them less insanely powerful. The single-player AI is dumb, but you can always give it a huge production bonus to balance things out.

For some reason, I can't find a "Join Group" button, or any indication of how to join the group. Is it by invite-only?
