Here's how every single Deity game seems to play out, according to some people I've talked to, quill18s analysis (don't miss that link, it's very informative), and the visible example in Trump's Let's Play that he started uploading recently:

- Your neighbors all declare war on you in the first 30-40 turns.
- You build a bunch of units and defend as good as you can.
- Then you get ridiculous amounts of Gold per Turn offered in a peace deal.
- Then you roll over a few neighbors
- Then you wait until you win the game.

That first attack wave - and the pathetic, truly pathetic attempts of the AI that is trying to get their units to do -something useful with its overwhelming forces - is perfectly represented in the first Episode of Trump's Deity Let's Play:

Note how when he founds his first expansion (with a stolen Settler) the AI literally has 4 Warriors just sitting there in the west, moving up and down, doing nothing.

While I haven't done any serious attempts on Deity myself (played my very first match on Deity and was crushed because I didn't expect the first wave so early. :p), it appears that Deity is pretty easy to beat.

Thoughts?

No, it's the other Trump. The intelligent one!
