Trying to install Civ4 but getting weird error...

Can anyone help?

I have been playing Civ4 since the day it was released on my laptop, but now I bought a new computer and I was going to install it on there too.

I install disk 1 with no problems. It then asks me for disk 2. I put that disk in and it continues to install and after about a minute or so, seems to stop and do nothing then pops up the following error (here is a screenprint of it):

the disc is either dirty or scratched - try cleaning it with a dry soft cloth...
