Look what The Cat dragged in !!

Don't be fooled by it though; I got this message on opening the save. It only means C3B checked us in their F4 screen and offered peace to check on techs / resources etc. They forgot to do "clear table". It is definately not a genuine peace offer.

I would believe the trade screen is accurate, but maybe it doesn't show it in war time. They could've sold them to CGN - I would ask CDZ what happened to them.

Good news, this means neither gold or luxuries are changing hands CGN and CDZ.
At least the CDZ diplomacy has assured a wait and see policy.

If we succeed with our expedition, we may well make them shift sides.

Well , sue them, sue their sorry back-ups...
They play dirty still, shake them down with a new UN lawsuit.

That is quite likely, CGN-CDZ trade. I just say, exterminate Brazuca in a series of battles we will do fine. We just need to keep the battle in their lands, rape and pillage and raze.
Gradually, their resource base and immunity system will fail, and our hordes will engulf them in a captivating fire.

I meant unlikely as in it would be unlikely that they just managed to open up their trade route on turn 136. That would have probably been a top priority.

Comments: I have not seen anymore C3B galleys in the West. This may mean that they have defended that coastline by occupying every square. If this is true, then we must have complete surprize to land in the east (else they will simply move the occupiers to the east).

The movement of the JT north may tell us what we need to know...i.e. are there multiple galleys coming at us. If we have to face multiple galleys, we must drop some troops (preferably out of C3B sight) and attack the galleys to gain control of the waterway. If they continue to retreat...they we should be ok, if they stay, we fight. We can not risk the spotting of the main battle fleet as surprize is critical to the operation.

I plan to send 4-6 galleys north along the West coast soon. This will be a feint (along with the horse units) to try to draw C3B's attention west.

Oh dear ..

I've started to play the save. The only thing I did was move the JT 1 tile north and this is what I saw. 2 C3B galleys instead of 1 !!

I'm going to keep the save opened while waiting for advise.
In a few hours I'll continue. Please comment (preferably CoMa).
