Taj: I really don't think anyone else is building it, or will beat us to it. I'm not against delaying it, but I don't mind if we don't delay it either.
Civics changes: With a MoM extended GA, we should be able to pull off more than one civics change, and should plan accordingly.
Switching to Vassalage + Theo makes sense if we are building units everywhere. If we are building mostly buildings stick with OR.
Switching to Representation and CS are good ideas if we are going to run specialists. Are we running specialists? My concern with switching from Slavery to CS if we aren't also switching to US is that we giving the ability to rush units. That is not really a good idea during a war. Do we have enough WS to make CS worthwhile? We have Guilds and Chemistry now which make WS a far better improvement.
I would not switch to Mercantilism. Look at our cities. We are getting substantial income from foreign trade routes. And Amazon is currently researching Economics. I would wait and switch to Free Market when that becomes available. Mercantilism is not worth it for the free specialist.
