Even if we do have a default turnplayer there is still a chance that he will not be on during the last hour, that's why we encourage anyone who can to play. And I just have a thought on the wording of the constitution. It sounds to me like if you see that we haven't played our turn yet that you can go ahead and play it. I will be really angry if this is the case. I don't mind that anyone can play the turn, but I think they need to at least sign up for the duties and wait their turn. Do I get this right?

remake20, the purpose of this thread is for turnplayers to tell us when they will be available, when they are taking over/giving up responsibility for playing the turn. Things like "Hey I know I am up next but I will be out of town, can the next person play for me?"... and things like that.

Look at Tinkerbell's first post in this thread... look at Silent Confusion's first post... nabaxo's post... That is what this thread is for. Many of your posts in this thread are questions/complaints/arguments about turnplayers rules. This is not the thread to make those arguments or ask those questions.

Please ask your questions about the rules/Constitution and make your arguments about the Constitution in the "Upcoming Polls Thread." I think I mentioned this before and even included a link to the thread.

Anyhoo... In an effort to keep this Thread on topic, I will answer your question in the Polls thread.

Edit: Just noticed I have been noting the turns wrong. The game starts with turn 0 not Turn 1, so it is really turn 3 not turn 4. So TMIT you are up on Turn 5 after next turn (Turn 4). Are you OK to take over? And how many turns are you going to play?

4. nabaxo

I have played 5 turns, TMIT is up. TMIT please acknowledge you are taking over, otherwise, remake20 is up, and if r20 does not acknowledge, then nabaxo is up. If nobody acknowledges their turn, no worries... I will just continue to play until someone speaks up and says how many turns they want to play, or when they want to play etc.

TMIT can always post that he is ready to take over, or it can go to nabaxo next. How many turns are you going to play before passing to nabaxo?

I liked the way Sommerswerd layed out the turn log reports. With that said I don't mind it being changed up by each person. But I would like it to include all important information. I think it should always include our current tech situation. You could have added that we found more furs, but that's not as important in my mind as reporting the current tech situation.

Another thing I would suggest for future turn-players (including myself) is that any opinions be posted in turn discussion rather than in the turn log itself. Fill up the turn-report with just facts.

Things like:

Crap there's a lot of resources.
[...]
Notes: I'm thinking that there will be a land that we can only get to with astro, that's why they are giving us some many commerce resources so we can tech faster.

The first comment is true, but I just think that kind of editorializing should be in a different thread (probably the Turn Discussion thread). The second is pure speculation, and I don't think it belongs in the turn-log. I do think the comments should be made, just not here.

If my critiquing the turn-report is out-of-line, I apologize. I am trying to be helpful.
