No Saber invasion of The Council.

Last turn The Council was building Manhattan Project in The Chamber. It did not complete.

This turn they are building United Nations in The Aerie. It will cost 191 gold to investigate, but that seems worth it.

Should examine The Chamber also, to see what is being built.

We built three Aircraft Carriers, but I have no idea what to name them.

Saber's letter mentioned that The Council could abandon all their coastal cities to prevent an invasion once they learned the last Space Ship tech. However, only eight of The Council's cities are not coastal. And ten parts are needed.

Saber's non Carrier Task Force is 1N-3NW of Freeborn (11NW). Four Cruisers, four Destroyers and 6 Transports.

We have three polluted tiles on the mainland. Ugh.
 
I remain interested in the game, but it's just kind of frustrating. It would be cool to win, but it seems our team is in the 'kingmaker' role -- attack the Council and open the way for SABER to stab us...or face off against SABER and leave the Council the breathing room they need to build their spaceship.

Without something to motivate the Council to vote for us in the UN, we're at an impasse. If our military power were weaker, I'm sure SABER would invade the Council without worrying about us; OTOH, if our military power were weaker, I'm sure SABER would simply have eaten us for lunch by now and claimed victory via domination.
I agree. We can stand and watch but we aren't strong enough (and neither is Saber) to committ to an action on The Council without risking a backstab.

We've got a plan to win, but it depends on the diplomatic situation. We need Saber to invade, but Saber won't invade because they fear that we would invade them while their forces are mired down in The Council. We wouldn't but only because we can rush the UN, and we can't tell Saber about that.

If the Apollo Program could be captured, we would have several more turns to prepare. How many shields/turn does the Gulag produce?
 
The Gulag is an interior city; it is roughly 2SW of our city of Kremlin on their map. It has no coastal access. It is 6 tiles inland. I don't see a way to stop the build.

Saber has been bombing around the city. We have a Stealth Bomber on 11NW that can do some damage but that is about it.
