    Saber wants us to sabotage the remaining 640 shield space part. It cost them over 12000 in gold, we have less than 5000. So that will not happen.

    If we can place a spy we can determine something about where the other big ticket item is located.

    If we cannot place a spy we may got get to Turn 280.

    Beyond that, what do we want to do to help Saber get ashore? Anything? We can touch a lot of The Council's shoreline from our Bombers on 11NW and those aboard our carriers.

    The Council has abandoned The Pier.

    And that might be the game. No spy; no sabotage.

    The Council will build 8 Space ship parts this turn. One of the 640 shield parts has been sabotaged, and Saber wants us to sabotage the other. With no spy that is impossible.

    We'll send most of our cash to Saber for their next attempt. We'll keep a little bit in reserve.

    We make the Cold War with The Council very Hot. We have to; else The Council just waltzes off to space. I really doubt that we can stop them, but we can make them nervous.

    We have the save, but Saber is sending us some advice.

    No gold came from Saber. Most likely explanation is that they are broke. Or they don't see a way to sabotage another build.

    No Battle Log from The Council.

    The Bayou, on the south coast of The Council (same relative area as our Fortress of Meleet) has been either captured or abandoned.

    Saber's task force, including ACs and Transports, is rather south of where The Pier used to be (our FreeToes).

    We don't see any units (of anybody) on the south shores of The Council.

    The Beach is still undefended. An Artillery is in The Admiralty.

    Checked Saber's military. No losses from last turn. It looks like they did not invade. Which means that The Bayou was abandoned.

    Reexamined Saber's Task Force. No damage to any vessel, so no bombings by The Council?

    I hope they send us some battlefield images, so that we can see what our choices are.

    We have one transport that could land this turn, in south Council-lands, with six units that would die very easily. In the north, our transports are two turns away from being able to do anything, and by then it may not matter.

    I worry that if we get space techs from The Council, we'll be next on SABER's hit list. They could do serious damage before we could respond. I think we have a better chance of winning a "peaceful" victory if we destroy The Council, and get BABE to vote for us in the UN. Also, we could research to Integrated Defense and build the SDI to reduce the risk of nukes, and once they get Manhattan, we can build nukes too, which could create a MAD situation, or we could destroy rest of the Council's productive capability,

    We'll also have to wait a few turns for Apollo to be built before starting parts unless we want to use the SGL that we saved for the UN.

    Also, do we have any moral problems with taking techs from the Council and then re declaring war before the 20 turns is up.

    I would be inclined to accept the Council's deal if we can come up with a plausible explanation to give SABER so that we aren't attacked in GONGland (which would put SABER dangerously close to domination)
