We have notes from Saber and The Council.
 
I hope to play this evening. Tuesday and Wednesday I'll be out of town for my mother-in-law's funeral.

We'll send Saber the requested/required 800+ gold for the sabotage attempt. I'm not real happy about sending them another big chunk of change. I want to be able to buy their plans, if needed, but since the value of that data is rather short term, we need to keep our cash high so that we can buy it at the moment we need it.

We have one polluted tile on the mainland.

I'm not sure about moving our Invasion Force closer to The Council. I don't want to invade The Council unless the game is on the line, which it isn't, not yet. Most likely, given the current tech race (which I'll need to check on) those units will just stay in place.

I will investigate a small Saber city to check their bank balance. It appears they examined several cities last turn; also this lets us validate their need for cash for espionage. I/we need to match the city list Saber sent us to spaceship parts costs. The Council have to build The Apollo Program before they can build spaceship parts. And they need to reconnect the Aluminum also.

Will probably investigate The Old Gong Isle (24 gold or some such cost) to see if Aluminum is connected. That city has an Airport and is building a Harbor. On Turn 272 the harbor needed three more turns.

We are now Weak compared to Saber, but still Strong compared to The Council.

If Saber is getting ready to invade The Council, then we can :trouble: some Dark Blue subs. If, on the other hand, those transports are meant for us, we should keep the subs around to help us later.

Saber sent Incense to help with an unhappy citizens. Not sure we need it right now.

We need to send Saber 226 (?) gold for last turn's espionage and maybe 4000 more for one more attempt. But that will be the last one we can do.

Not sure about how to handle The Council. If we are innocent as we claimed, then we could do nothing. I don't like doing nothing, because here I think it means we had something to hide. Which we do/did, but they don't know that yet and won't know it until the game is over. So we need to act out our innonence, Three subs would be enough. After all, they only attacked our Transports. No bombing runs on the rest of our fleet, which I am sure they could have done.

I do plan to send The Council any screen shots of interest.
