Looking for the door...
There was a prior discussion about this at the end of the last game, but it split off into 3 other discussions and this point was left in the dust. We need to decide how to approach this issue and decide if we're going to make a standard or law or what. This is important and will cause problems if not addressed and formalized.
Dis made a proposal saying how the game should be saved on a pre-turn basis and then discussed. I like this idea. I'd also like to see screen shots of the options chosen before the OK button is pushed (similiar to what Donsig did at the end of last game).
After the pre-turn has been discussed, I'd like to see the 10 turn per chat brought back with no authorization to go beyond the 10th turn. Discussion in the forums should be required before another 10 turns is done. This is not to say playing a full 10 turns is required. If the DP or citizens feel that the chat should be stopped to bring an issue to the forums, then it should be stopped.
I don't believe there is a need to rush through the turns to try and liven the game up. Citizen discussion is what enlivens the game. So can we decide on how the turns will be handled in the chats?
