T105: Start moving our two horsemen that are garrisoned, for scouting. Give $250 to Bucharest (nearby cultural CS) which is worth 5 happy for whales. Give $500 to Vienna (northern cultural CS which we just discovered) for vision (looks like there is nothing to the northwest) and 5 happy for incense. Switch Ecbatana (size one coastal city) from a monument (which will claim zero valuable tiles) to a work boat (which we need in Rome). Select Piety. Why? Were getting so much culture per turn, and I think getting golden ages with a couple Piety policies will be more interesting than double experience (for our already promoted units). No, I don't think it's better. But I do think it doesn't matter so I'll have my fun.
T106: Find Indias borders in the north.
T107: Find Americans in the east. Spend $250 to re-ally Monaca as this alliance expired. Find 2 natural wonders.
T108: See a Songhai scout in the east. Meet Stockholm (Maritime CS with spices which we lack) currently under attack by America and Songhai. Hook up Cotton (+5).
T109: Ally Stockholm for food and vision. They are under attack by a couple spears, thats it. Since were out of horses I re-ally Almaty. (Were still friends.) Sell spare wine and sugar to Songhai, $300 each.
T110: Songhai is sending units at Stockholm so I ask him what it takes for peace. He gives it to me for free! We can get a social policy, I pick the golden age happy cost one. Now we are 490/375. There had better be overflow!

Sell silk to Askia since we have more happiness than necessary. Find a Songhai city.
T111: Civil Service in. Bulb Chivalry. Research to Theology (for Education->Banking, I guess...). Golden age. Declare war on Gandhi. Find a natural wonder. I annex Thebes taking us down to, er, 14 happy. This will let us by horsemen/knights in a useful location that even has a barracks. Also it can build units now, I start a Horseman. I think Chichen Itza is overkill. I buy an Armory and Horseman there.
T112: Minor combat.
T113: Capture Mumbai, which is Indias second city. Promote a medic and set units to heal up two turns from now.
T114: Not much. I annex Rome so I can buy the Pearls tile and workboat it, but this was a mistake. The happiness just cancelled and now social policies are more expensive. Honestly it doesnt matter though. We get a third great general in former China.
T115: Second wave of horsemen arrives and I conquer Delhi. No more India.
We have a ridiculous number of horsemen that we can upgrade to knights. (Ive made horses so they can run more quickly to the front, then upgrade at our front city.) We will be in a golden age for the rest of the game - just sacrificing generals should be enough but we'll have Reformation too if necessary. Economy is irrelevant except we dont want -10 unhappy. I pretty much ignored it. Post-knights, I don't think our techs matter. We may as well keep our city state allies. All we need to do is conquer two capitals and we win. Sound good?
