Ugliest start ever

My worst start:

All grasslands. Nothing else. No mountains, no hills, no plains, no nothing other than grasslands, and a few bonus grassland. I though it would be good for expansion (lot's of bonus food), so I expanded extremely quickly. And I found *gasp* more grasslands! And 3 mountains, 2 hills, a small bit of plains, and to the norht, marsh and desert. My top production city had 7 shields per turn with every tile improved.

Is that with all of your tiles mined? That's where you build very tightly... Even an all grassland start can get up to 120spt with all production improvements at the end of the game...

You could have put some forrests on those grasslands.

@Morchuflex: Do you happen to have a save from the start in post #1? Looks like a nice challenge :)
Sorry, trashed it in haste! But I'll think about you next time I get such a start. ;)

Trying to find a decent start for another Sid attempt, I got this :rotfl: :

Wow, Doc. I'd heard of an all mountain start, but I'd never actually seen one. Well done!

A 'quaint fishing community in the mountains'. Not the best place for a capital....
