OK, guys, what do you do, when you're AT the mini-site, to actually access the info that you've mentioned? I've tried everything I can think of, and all I'm getting is the competition details !

You should see a flash movie at lower left of the screen. If you don't see it, you can download the plugin at www.macromedia.com. Just click the units above the timeline to see info about that particular conquest...
Originally posted by Jeff_ATARI For everyone else -- you would not believe how hard it is to get the correct info about a game out there, especially when some of that changes along the way. There are still preorder sites that talk about only 8 new conquests, there are articles written talking about the 5 new civs.... it's a giant game of Telephone!
By all means, beta testers, PM me in the next month if you see some public misinformation you think one of us at Breakaway, Firaxis, or Atari, can issue an official correction/statement on.
(And all you folks who like to find loopholes and exploits, I can already hear you preparing to publicize as much incorrect info as possible just so we'll release more correct info. Just don't. )
We do have some more plans for the civ3.com site and another running series on gamespot.com, so stay tuned in the next few weeks. And soon enough, all will be revealed
Yes, yes, these civs and scenarios and volcanos and things all look very, very nice...
However, what intrigues me are the sweepstakes!
Hmmm...a telescope... Ah, nice... But would I have enough room? A new TV? Where would I put it? A new copy of Sun Tzu? I've got enough of those. Maybe if it were Polybius I would enter, but... A CivIII Boardgame? Nice...but that's going to take me years to play!
Hey! Wait!Stop!Cease!Halt!
Did you say a monocle?!!!
I would have abstained from entering; Heaven knows I would have kept away.
