    All,
I've been taking screenshots of the various different color installer options available.

Personally, I like the Cerulean (blue) and Mint Green ones...but now you can choose without having to experiment!! :D

I appreciate you showing some of the choices. It does make for a nice feel when you get the color you like.

My favorite color is blue so I am partial to that color. ;)

My favourite is the green, as the blue and the purple are a little strong for me and I can't stand the dark red. The brown UI seems to have improved since I used it last.

Bumping so others can enjoy the benefits of seeing this. This really would be helpful if these could be saved in a permanent spot somewhere.

Just FYI to anyone considering the red UI - I really like the color scheme overall, but on some screens (the civic screen especially comes to mind) the strong color really attacks your eyes and quickly wears them out :twitch:

To get this to be a Sticky you need to PM a moderator with a link asking them to make it so.

Last I heard you have to reinstall. I don't know if it effects saved games or not (though I doubt it). You may want to rename your old install directory to Rise of Mankind - A new dawn - original; reinstall using a different color, and see if your save games load.

Nice work! :) I do prefer more color options.
I'm not sure, I can be a huge supporter of the ones selected though. :(
The Black, Charcoal, and Silver colors seem like too much Grayscale to me.
The Red is too Bright. The Dark Red looks too Brownish. The Blue looks like the standard color.
    That leaves Green or Purple.
My friend is installing the purple.

I would have liked an aqua blue, or a Navy blue. I noticed a Gold color in someone else's post in the forum.
Is there a specific location, where we could insert a hex color number, to indicate a specific color we wanted?
Or even checkbox the option to have the color change automatically to indicate which Era we are in.
Or checkbox the option to have the color change to the color of the Empire we have that game.

I think, I will go with the Green today.

If you want to change the colours in game, you just go to ..../Mods/Rise of Mankind - A New Dawn/Assets/Modules/Interface colors and edit the MLF_CIV4Modularloadingcontrols.xml file

If you want to keep the alterations between updates, just add a comment

--> This changes the colour of the interface, and I spell ENGLISH language, not some mongrel hybrid gibberish

    Edit comment to suit yourself.

Is there any interest out there for additional colours? Was just poking through the "\Assets\Modules\Interface Colors\<color name> UI\Resource\Themes\Civ4" folders and upon comparing the Civ4Theme_Common.thm files I noticed the differences in the GColor()s. If those are straight up RGBA values then it seems you could easily tweak them to get different colors.

There's already likely extensive discussion of this but search didn't turn up anything relevant. Personally I'm using purple and it's mostly ok except the bits where green font goes over it...
