[OOC]Uknemesis: Can we do the plebecite or would it interfere with the game rules too much?[/OOC]

[OOC - 5 Gold.. guess i'll buy a Hockey Stick

I'll get my armies up tormorow (Wednesday) and should have order for them the same day, or the day after.]

Kushanis, that's fine with me so long as it's done by Saturday.

And a hockey stick will be handy for bashing some skulls :p

And Toasty, I will do the plebicite, but it was to my knowledge that you hadn't both yet agreed for it to take place, and what the outcomes could be. When I here an agreement on it from both of you, it can take place.

And nothing like that interferes with the rules, one off things like that can be easily sorted. So if anyone else wants to do something like that, then be my guest.

I'll take Japan!

As the rule of the elected leader was about to come to an end in 1934 there were many who wanted to succeed him. A fierce political struggle began in Japan as each party gathered as many loyalists around them as they could. The situation got worse and worse and finally in May of the same year, one week before the election, civil war erupted. It was a very bloody war with alliances shifting all the time and no real end in sight. And then, when it seemed that all hope of peace was lost, one man emerged and took over control. Altough noone will ever really know what happened, it is said that he managed to silence all opposition in just one night and then called for a truce between the leader- and aimless parties. His proposal, that he would be the new leader of the Japanese Empire, was accepted unanimously and in 1935 he was proclaimed Emperor Kwan-Sn, Ruler of the Rising Sun.

3 tanks are 45 gold, leaving you with 10 gold left over. Do you want to add another infantry to this army to spend that 10?

Other than that, adds up fine.

The reason the Dutch might consider joining Germany as opposed to being independant is because of their long history of cooperation and cultural relation to Germany. Also, if Holland becomes independent, it will be severely crippled in relation to other nations and may not be able to defend itself from a subsequent French (or otherwise) attack.

I personally believe it should be included in the plebecite because Holland will hardly be able of defending itself after if its independence is granted. Also, the Dutch have little to gain in being independent as opposed to being an integral part of the German republic.

Should the French president refuse to allow Holland the option of becoming German he could likely be planning to re-annex the territory when it is a weak newborn.

I assure you my good friend, France has no intentions of war! War has ravaged our nation and I do not intend on starting another one! Now is a time for peace and prosperity and a time for rebirth. If you are greatly troubled by any fears of the Netherlands being attacked following its independance then sign an MPP with the new Government?
Here are my plans for a free Netherlands:
I. If the Netherlands attain independance then France will send it 80gold to help it build a strong army.(And don't forget the default 500g it will gain.)
II. France shall sign an MPP swearing to protect the Netherlands from any foreign invasion.
III. France shall send $10 million to help the new Government rebuild itself.
I hope we can both agree on a deal which best suits the Dutch people.
Yours,
President Phillipe Henry
