I claim MY FAIR SHARE, 2 provinces, and anyone who trespasses on my land faces war. It's just that simple! Austria only tried to join when he saw we could easily win and there was land for the taking.

When did Prussia began to take care of the catholic church ? Prussia is a Lutherian country since the 16th century and your constitution doesn't associate your state with the Vatican. Find another pretext for me to leave Rome dear Kaiser.

As I said three months ago, Lybia won't invade the Vatican and leave religion liberty to all occupied Italian's lands. This message especially belongs to Spain but the King never emiitted an objection in this Vatican's case.
And we're in the 19th century and the French Revolution has already broke these ancient times, when the Pope was ruling upon the Europeans leaders.

Spain and England have a MPP.
Italy and Sweden have a MPP.
Sweden attacked England. This action bringed Italy and Spain into the war.
I have a MPP with Spain and France. An Italian fleet was cruising at my friend's border without asking for a permission to do it. This fleet was direclty menacing Spain.
My MPP and my sense of honor bringed me into this war to protect Spain and to eradicate the Italian's threat. This incident, I confess it, is also a chance for me to extend my weak nation and to bring me on the European scene with these Italians lands annexed. With this done, I will have more diplomatics power to counter your bad willings for Europe.
The MPP France had with me bringed him into this war too.

Yeah. Sometimes acting in character gets to be a bit straining... I'm sick and tired of being a whiner and a trouble-maker, but that's what France is... and just like Russia (or, that's the impression I get), she wants to take over the world...

OK, here are the MPPs:
First we have the Med Alliance, which is Libya, France, Spain, and Turkey, who all have MPPs with each other. Turkey only has an MPP with Libya, but if for example France fights, Libya has to, and then Turkey has to as well.
Then we have the RAP Alliance, which is Russia, Austria, and Prussia, who all have MPPs with each other, and they have Right of Passage Agreements as well.
Then there is a DMZ, where nobody can go, in the English Channel, agreed upon by France and England.
Finally, England has an MPP with Spain, which makes him part of the Med Alliance as well if Spain fights.
Now, Italy and Sweden have an MPP but that hardly matters since soon they'll be gone
Last of all, there are 2 links between the West (Britain, France, Spain, Libya, Turkey) and the East (Russia, Prussia, Austria).
If I'm not mistaken, Russia has an MPP with Turkey, so in a war between West and East Turkey will fight with the defender, supposedly.
Also, France has an MPP with Prussia, but it's not as strong a pact as there is between France-West and Prussia-East. Still, France and Prussia will defend each other if attacked.

Also, Libya has a good point. The Western Powers (Spain, France, Libya) are fighting Sweden and Italy because of an MPP to England, attacked directly by Sweden, and by Italy, who had to join the war on Sweden's side.
In the meantime, Russia joined the war when he saw that Sweden and Italy were outnumbered (he remained neutral until Spain, Libya, and France declared war), and then his cronies Austria and Prussia were brought in by MPP.

While I hope there won't be war, I just wanted to remind you I have a +1 bonus against these nations who are MPP'd with me: Spain, Britain, Libya, Prussia. IF (and only IF) they betray an MPP this turn, I do get the bonus right?
Also, I'm changing my orders for 30 and 32 - the soldiers are NOT to fire at Austrians or Prussians (JUST ITALIANS!), they are to sit there and let the A/P's fire the 1st shot so that THEY betray the MPP, giving me the +1 bonus.

All right, then, let's look at the possibilities.
1. A bluff, most likely. Nobody wants to help you, unless they were quite stupid, or had enormous gains.
2. There are 8 nations you could have MPP with: France, Britain, Spain, Libya, Russia, Prussia, Austria, Turkey. Of these, we can cross off France, and then we can cross off Spain and Libya, because they have MPP with me and I'd have a +1 bonus, for similar reasons we can cross off Prussia.
That leaves Austria, Britain, Russia, and Turkey.
I guess the most likely 1 is Britain, because my back door is wide open... we'll remedy that in my orders, Britain...
I suppose we'll find out eventually, right KNAS?
As soon as next turn perhaps? Have you finally been plotting something to givea bit of spice to this war?
I doubt it will help... even with one more person you're still vastly outnumbered.

But can you really cross out anyone just because a -1 disadvantage? i mean, an undefended border against alot of soldiers make little difference...

I've decided to change the rules slightly AGAIN I'm afraid lol.
Because backstabbing in the days of honour between nations(in those days they still gave official declarations of war), I am changing the bonus.
The bonus will be +3 for all DEFENDING units of the backstabbed for the first turn, +2 for DEFENDING units the turn after that, and +1 for the turn after that. These only apply to DEFENDING units now, and still only against the backstabber.
To make sure you don't suffer these effects, you can cancel your MPP, but it must be at least one turn before you attack(ie; you can cancel your MPP one turn, then attack the next, and not be penalised, but you can't cancel and attack all in one turn without suffering penalties.
These bonuses also count for fleets.
Finally, if you've backstabbed someone, you also are vulnerable to backstabbing yourself due to the loss of reputation. That means that another nation can backstab you without any penalty ONLY ON THE TURN AFTER YOU BACKSTABBED SOMEONE.
Backstabbing only occurs when someone attacks your territory(that you already hold), not attacks a province at the same time as you.
