Ultimate Civics Expansion - Ideas

Hey all,

If you're anything like me, you probably dislike the limited number of civics that came with Vanilla Civ. Though there have been numerous efforts to really give you control over what kind of Civilization you run (Aussie_Lurker's mod is my current favorite), I find its always been something in the realm of limited.

So here it is, my first foray into modding, my ideas for:

MrCrawford's Ultimate Civics Expansion

Note that the following are just ideas. While I've started some work on them, I would like to see any issues I might have missed, feedback, criticism or even more ideas to slap onto this mother.

Well, as it so happens, I am currently trying to port my "Ultimate Civics Mod" to BtS. I'm currently running into issues but, when done, I'm sure you won't be disappointed by the choice of civics, and civic effects, I offer.

For instance, in government Civics you have Tribal, Dictatorship, Oligarchy, Monarchy, Republic, Parliamentary Democracy and Junta. They all follow very specific themes.

As to the specifics you've laid out. Most look pretty good, but Globalism looks a little overpowered. One thing I was trying to do was to expand the TradeRouteYield bonus to effect Commerces too. This way, the Globalization Civic would give you bonus trade routes, but at the cost of -10% culture per trade route. The thing about my civics mod is that everything has an upside and downside-just to keep things balanced.

Thanks for the feedback. Now that I see it, it is a bit overpowered. I'm also looking to add another category for added feel, outside of the ones I've added (so far, the only one I've added on top of the mods I've seen is Media).
