Look, I know I've been biting people's heads off recently, and more-so than I used to. My patience has been in short supply of late. My dad had a mild stroke recently, and my mom has a cyst on her liver(the docs say it's not cancer.) My friend is borrowing money(never a good thing for a friend to owe a friend money!), and work has been rather stressful lately. Plus, I just turned 32, I'm single, my car is ****ting the bed, and 5,000 of my fellow New Yorkers were murdered.

In short, it's been a bad year. :( So I'm sorry if I've gone out of my way to offend anyone that wasn't doing the same to me first.(Obviously floppa and Graeme don't get an apology, they're asking for it. )

It's been a bad time for us all lately, FL2. My best mate evewr died in a car crash in East Timor on 20/8, 9/11 happened and 3 people I knew went down, and me mother got diagnosed with tuberculosis. But what can you do, eh? Life go's on, as much as you don't want it to, and our everyday problems remain, however petty they may seem. I got no answers, now or ever.
All I can put forward is something that came to me a few years back, when we had a horrific few days and thought my brother had killed himself after being kicked out of the Navy (he lived): Life is cruel and short, terrible and overall not nice, but what else have we got?

Combine what has happened lately with the most intense personal dilemmas ever,( which one won't go into, but it is the big question), and it aint been nice, but we gotta soldier on, with the help of God or whoever.

Everybody is in need of forgiveness..once in a while, but the person we most frequently fail to forgive is ourselves. Hope things improve for you, Fearless.

P.S. Don't loan your friend anymore money.

IM ASKING FOR IT???????????

I dont give a **** about whats happening in your life in regard to your posts, it doesnt make a difference to the fact that your 'lets believe the bible because it can't be proved wrong' attitude right - you may be able to argue more eloquently than I but you are still saying stuff that is plain stupid (me too like).

On the other hand i'm sorry about whats happened to you however my own prospects aren;t too good at the minute.
Everyone lets get a drink, and we can all write here about how **** everythigs going (could it be the fact that we all devote far too much of our time tlaking to people we'll never meet?)

I know a surprising number of people going through hard times, myself included - my son died this summer and I lost my job. But that's where the similarity between us ends. I believe in personal responsibility. I intend to remain accountable for what I say and do, even in times of stress. Forgiveness is not part of my ethos. I won't give it and I don't expect it.

people whine about their lifes too much.

but i have 2 say, thats sad about your son AoA.

Ya know what Stormy?

I am sorry about your son, and I hope you find work soon.

Best wishes.

PS As a side note, I'd like to point out that I was apologizing publicly for my actions, and offering an explanation for them. I did not demand understanding or acceptance of my actions, and if you read it that way, then I failed to properly communicate my intentions. I apologize for that as well.

Edit to add PS
