unable to move any character?

I'm unable to move any character suddenly for no reason that I can think of other than an update of some kind that would effect others.

I can right and left click on the desktop just fine so it isn't the mouse... I tried typing M and moving the character and pressing enter but they still didn't move.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game; verified game files via steam... and did a general search of the internet and didn't come up with anything.

I'm not playing with any mods yet

Go to additional contents and verify that you don't have any mods active. I have the same problem and the update enabled a lot of mods I had disabled.
