Is there any way to tell a unit to cross a bridge instead of trying to swim across? I am playing Barbarian Invasion as Eastern Rome, and insted of going across an undefended brige, my archers and light cavalry decide to swim across under heavy archer fire from the persians. How do I fix this, or am I just screwed by the Unit AI.
What is the most fun empire to play in Barbarian Invaision that can not become a horde? I hate being a horde, your units can't be retrained to full strength. As the ERE, what are some tips to dealing with the Persians? I can deal with the Goths, but I can't find a way to deal with their slingers and archers AND their clibanarii, (bow armed cataphracts). Is it possible to suceed as Western Rome? I tried it and my economy went into the ditch so fast it wasn't funny, even after I deconstructed buildings and disbanded units.
