***Unit Request Thread***

don't you think that we need a ship to fill the gap between the galleon and modern day transports? I do.
In the glory days of sail... there was the Schooner. The backbone of sea travel and commerce in the second half of the 19th century - until the clippers/windjammers came along... wait, now that gives me an idea!
But seriously, I would love for somebody to make a schooner for us, it could serve as a fast industrial merchant ship (yeah, some attack and defense parameters, too) without requiring resources.
Here's a pic of what I'm talking about:

And here's the sloop, the even faster, but smaller "younger sister":
Note that the schooner ALWAYS had two masts, while the sloop ALWAYS had one mast only!

I was wondering if anyone had thought about making Diablo II Units? I was thinking of a way to incorporate my two favorite games. Diablo Units seemed to be the most convient, a mod might not work so well. Well, it is just a thought if there is anyone out there capible, please make them for me. Thanks.

I have thought on making warcraft and diablo mods, but it seems as if Blizzard is dead set against anyone converting their graphix. Someone might know more about this than me, but I heard they shut down a site that was converting their graphix for mods. If you e-mail them they may not respond with a yes. 
Blizzard is greedy and thinks their games are the only ones that should be played. After the boring Warcraft 3, my friends and I having stopped buying their products. As appealing as Diablo mods would be to me, I can't see it happening till Blizzard lightens up.
BTW: I used to play Diablo II on Battlenet. I had 6 accounts with all 99 lvl characters. I had 3 more accounts of mules. Not that I'm bragging. Of course I took a trip and my pc sat for a few months and when I returned it was all gone.
Needless to say I haven't played since.

Please, could someone make a new Chasqui unit. The one that comes with Conquest looks pathetic, Incas were no Sioux! The feather-hat is ridiculous, I can't stand it.

And why not a russian S-300 PMU air defense missile system ?
This system use the SA-10 "Grumble" and SA-12 "Gladiator" missiles which are very powerfull.

France has been largely ignored when it comes to covering WW2 equipment, namely tanks. So far the only French tank animation for Civ3 is Char B1-bis, and some WW1 vintage Renaults. Thus I would request someone to make a unit from Somua S-35, the best French medium tank (and one of the best medium tanks in the world) at the start of WW2.

Yes, I'd love to see the S300 as well! A truck-mounted Patriot and the S300 would be excellent and welcome additions to the game.
Making the following units would require a little less work:
1.) The Avenger (U.S.) - mounted on a Humvee - perhaps someone could modify Kinboat's Humvee
2.) Tunguska M1 (Russia) - could be made by taking an existing Russian tank chassis and adding the turret.
3.) Crotale NG (France) - the radar artillery can be modified for this. I think Finland uses this sytem, although the chassis is different (wheeled)
I also recall seeing the ADATS system somewhere (either here, at civfanatics or at CDG) a long time ago. Now that we can have AA units, this unit could be employed in this role, although the attack animation would need to be changed (I think it used to launch the missile on a horizontal trajectory).
I'd do these myself, but, but art is definitely not my strength.
