Yes, Finland has the Crotale NG system mounted on the XA-185 Pasi 6x6 chassis (the one used widely in eg. UN missions). AFAIK a there aint a Pasi unit yet, but if someone bothers to make Crotale, the missile unit could be used to replace the AMOS turret on Patria AMV 8x8 unit. Of course it would be even better if someone made a Pasi.

The Crotale (and Crotale NG) is a good idea.
South Africa (14 units), Arabia (32 units + 36 Shahine), Chile (4), Egypt (24), UAE (9), Greece (?), Lybia (27) and Pakistan (24) are users of the Crotale.

NB : the Shahine system is a Crotale mounted on an AMX 30 chassis.

The Hawk will be a good static air défence. This system is (or were) used by a lot of country.
In France and Italy it will be replace by the Aster air defence missile system.

I think the Crotale would make a good unit and could serve as a replacement for the current SAM unit they have in Civ, which looks a lot like (and just might be) the mobile version of the Hawk from the pre-Patriot days.

The Patriot and the S300 could serve as high-tech SAM units that would be enabled by the discovery of an advanced tech like synthetic fibres (or something else in that area of the tech tree like miniaturization).

The Patriot (Germany, Greece, Israel, Japan, Arabia, Netherlands, Turkey, and any other Western civs) and the S-300 (Russia, China, India, and any others) should cover all the civs. The civs I've specified may not use the aforementioned systems, but that's what one would expect them to use, should they need an advanced SAM.

Patriot, S300 and BUK M1 could be suitable for immobile city defence units (with airlift for relocation purposes), while Crotale and similar could be mobile SAMs protecting units.

The sheme come from Jane's Armour and Atrtillerie 1997.
I've photographed the Crotale during an Air Show at Orange (Vaucluse) where the BA115 is located (BA for Air Base).

Err : there seems to be an officier and a cornet. Any "average" soldier to know what should be represented would be nice.
And there is a cavaley at the back. Were they cavalrymen too or only foot units ?

Err, there is a cruise missile already. And AFAIK its graphics is based on Tomahawk. But of course a better looking flavour would be nice.

It's quite surprising how few jet fighters there actually are available to Civ3. More (and better) are definitely needed. So here's a list.

I am requesting a Jouster. Basically a knight with a long spear and a shield for medieval European Civs. If someone could make that I would be very grateful.

I am thinking the stats would be very similar to the knight with a slight boost to defense and hp, with slightly lowered attack.

In my mod these would be part of a Royal Defense in medieval Europe. I might even have some kind of Great Wonder spit these out every few turns...
