Unless one of us can program, we can't do this. You don't have aim, aol, or e-mail do ya?

I believe all we can do in Civ, is simply make variations of the same unit.

Unit: A/D/M
Tank: 16/10/2
Mech Infantry: 14/18/2
Modern Armor: 24/12/2
...
Or whatever their stats are.

Excatly, that my point.... we can show 100 different pictures of real life units but not be able to use their real stats...

I would love to see some new units for my 1900 scenario im building. I need a pre-dreadnought, armoured cruiser, protected cruiser, and an old destroyer. I have down loaded everything else. (fighting britain will be a challenge)

To distinguish units from each other, would it be possible to make the stats more exact? Like give them stats in 1/100 or 1/1000? In this way the battlecalc won´t need any reprogramming (I think).

I won't comment on the legal issues of this, but if someone could find a way to extract units from Cossacks, European Wars, we'd be set for units in that time frame.

I believe having a cargo plane that can transport units is very important. Planes in todays world are by far the best and most important method of transportation. If you look at the U.S. they have over 600 cargo planes. I rest my case =)

Anyone willing to work on this?

Yea, a Cargo Plne would be very useful....
Anyone ??? I think the Lockheed C-130 Hercules would be a good candidate.... used during the Gulf and are exported to MAMY nations worldwide.

Some modern British naval units like the aircraft carrier HMS Invincible. Also some destroyers and frigates two like the type 22s, 24s, and the 44s.

What would really be great is some British submarines like the Tralfagar SSN or the Vanguard SSBN. Since i don't know how, i would love it if someone could make these units
