Units for Civ3

Ive downloaded and added about 40 units to my game, but for some reason I have the urge to create my own, I am an illustrator but never really used computer graphics. Is there a unit creation program and maybe a tutorial for making new units?
Please Help!

www.jasc.com. This question was recently asked in this forum (scroll down just a bit). To make units, you will need some kind of 3d program and FLICster. FLICster can be found in the utilities forum.

Actaully, you don't need a 3D program, as until now none of my units have used one, but it does make it look better, and be easier to make. A great 3d Program is anim8or. It's available at http://www.anim8or.com.

That is true, you can also do copy/paste, or hand drawn art. My fingers were numb from cold when I was typing that, so I didn't want to go into all the possibilties

Also, if you are an illustrator, I'm sure everybody would love to see some concept work too if you'd be willing to share! That's another good way to translate your ideas into reality... inspire another creator
