Upcoming Games you are dying to Own

I finally got my Xbox 360 back from the repair center. Funny how they call it “repair” when they clearly just gave me a new console. Any who, these are the up coming games that I am dying to own:

Left 4 Dead 2
Dante’s Inferno
Alien Verse Predator
FIFA 10 (out now)

Any console or PC games you guys are looking foward to?
 
I already own L4D2, besides that, well, actually, just one other game I can think of. Mount&Blade: Warband. There aren't any other announced games being released this year or next year I can think of that I'm interested in. Oh, Alien Verse Predator if it is good. I have no idea what kind of gameplay Dante's Infernal is using, all I know is that EA has spent millions marketing it but I still have no idea what kind of game it is.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do NOT purchase L4D2 on the console. Updates will be slow and Microsoft won't allow VALVe to add new content for free (it will charge Microsoft points for any dlc) so you may or may not get new stuff.

Yea microsoft is really shrewd, I am sure they took my old console, are going to refurbish it and sell it to game stop or to 3rd world countries. I was disgusted when I saw I have to pay to change my gamer tag, even change the picture. I had accidently put my full real name as my gamer tag (lame). As for L4D2, I am still going to get it for the 360 because my PC is not that powerful, and I want to play it on my 42 inch LCD, also cause I want to play it with my little brother and my friends on 4 player co-op.

On a side note: Microsoft must be smoking crack if they think people are going to pay money to download pictures and lame stuff like that.
 
Ah true, I eagerly await for Assassin's Creed 2 to hit the bargain bin. The first one was tough to get into, awesome at first but quickly bloody repetitive, I picked it up again a few months later and enjoyed several nice 1 or 2 hour sessions until it was done. Glad I only paid a few bucks for it.
 
I can't wait for Left 4 Dead 2, but I'm going to wait for inevitable sale
 
Already pre ordered L4D2.

I was excited for that but I think I'm going to cancel my order now, it appears they're putting DRM on all digital copies of the game no matter where you get it from, you'll have to reactivate the game every single day! If you lose your internet connection for a day or something, you won't be able to play. That's bs and I don't want to bother with a retail version if they're going to pull that crap because they probably will put it in retail versions anyway then. Unless I see an official statement from a bioware person on the forums by tomorrow I'm cancelling my order.
 
Yeah, only for retail versions. They've said since they can't do a disc check they'll use their own copy protection for the digital versions. Only thing I'm not sure of is if it's just for the EAstore download, or for all of them, because they've also said previously they'll just let the various distributor's use their own protection. It'd be nice if they could just clear up any confusion since I saw a couple of topics on the issue. No, not once do they respond to those, they just argue with people about the DLC and making Morrigan into all kinds of things because people want her over the ugly characters.
 
Probably the biggest game on my radar at the moment is STALKER Call of Pripyat, which should be out early next year.

Yeah, now I got another reason I'm probably gonna cancel my DA order, it'll be pointless because I just got back into STALKER SoC. Probably won't be playing DA anyway for at least another week or so until I get sick of STALKER for a while.
 
Most good games of this year have already been released in the last 2 months. The only one I'm looking forward to is the European version of Lunia, hosted by OGPlanet http://lunia.ogplanet.eu/teaser/

I played the US Lunia closed beta, open beta and release version before it was shut down and the rights were acquired by 12FootTall, and then played the 12FT Lunia beta and release version. Lunia is one of the very, very, very few MMOs that don't suck balls. Beta testing (open? closed?) starts next week and I'm excited to play Lunia without lag

Left 4 Dead 2? I played the demo for about 10 minutes. It's Left 4 Dead with some new features. The original L4D was fun for about a week after its release. I haven't touched it since

That's fine by me because I don't own the first game. I downloaded the demo last night, I really enjoyed it. The highlight was when I saved someone from the tank by repeatedly smashing a guitar over it head. :lol: Also the Machete is awesome! I like how they made it gorier too (of course). I can't wait to own the real game, I reserved it.:goodjob:

Does anyone know if this will be more of a sandbox type game (Oblivion/Fallout 3), or will it be a "lead by the nose" type of game? After playing Oblivion and F3 I have no desire to play anything but a sandbox style game. If it is sandbox style, then I really want this game!
