I think this is a better idea. The metro will be considerably larger than the metro cities of that old series of mine. Not sure about the size #2, but it will be larger than 1+wall.

What do you think of this anglo-saxon dark age set?

Lighting still needs to be reworked, probably extensively cause currently the set looks a bit lifeless.

The overall form won't likely change. Here the set is smallish, but in other sets (eg Byzantine) i would probably have larger centerpieces anyway. Not all sets need to be of the same size despite my plan to keep the formations as constant (but alter textures where it makes sense, eg Byz plazas would be marble, and so on).

It looks nice, but the colours don't seem right - it looks like it's been painted. The walls should look wooden and the roofs should look thatched. I think also there are too many straight lines - it should all look a bit rougher. It might help if some of the buildings were rotated around a bit, so that they're not all aligned in the same direction.

Does the building in the southern corner have pillars around it? Do you have a source for that? It seems a bit out of place to me.

I plan to rework it... The building Plotinus' mentioned is a Viking one anyway, so would have had to go.
