Thank you everyone for the joint effort! Your inputs are very valuable and enough.
I only need a savegame that can reproduce a failed Dutch/Portuguese spawn and that would be perfect.
With that, I think I can push the release of the new version by the end of May.

In the meantime here is a spoiler of the next version. From Civ3 Rhye's of Civ Expanded.

I read about this problem in powergotnow's thread "v91 France". As the same happened to me in v90 only with France (I didn't report just because you released v91 before I could and I thought it maybe gone) I started a game with France yesterday but I'm away for the weekend only to return tomorrow evening. I hope I can upload a savegame tomorrow late as I'm only approx. 15 turns before Dutch spawn.
 
Unluckily both - the Dutch and the Portugese - found their capitals regularly. I´ll retry as soon as possible.

I was able to re-create the issue as France I messaged you privately for more details on how to proceed.
 
Hey Rhye, I was wondering if the fact that certain civs are switched off depending on what civ you’re playing as was a requirement, or if it’s just nice-to-have since it’s a big speed-up.

I always really loved in the civ 4 mod how you could choose to alter history by interacting with faraway (historically) civs, and seeing what was going on in another part of the world far away.

So I’m always a little sad when a civ isn’t in my game, like Mongolia. I would definitely turn on some or all civs even if it slowed the game down.
