These have been discussed before, but some of the developments I discovered when I picked the game back up left me with some questions about whether the design team had reconsidered their decisions on some of them.

Guilds/Corps - Since the guilds are all going away or being transformed, I was wondering if the design team had discussed the idea of using the Vanilla Corporations mechanics as some sort of Guilds system.

Espionage - I noticed there was additional information available now that in Vanilla requires espionage points to see. It also seems that there are a large number of mechanics in FFH that would mesh nicely with an espionage system, even if many active components were removed so most of the system was passive in FFH. Has this been revisited, or is there any inkling that it might be?

Well the ability to see other's research has been put back into the game, requiring the Eyes and Ears network.

Nah, the traditional BtS corporation mechanic is very good for BtS but I dont think its all that fitting for a fantasy mod. If anything it will feel like a BtS with fantasy names, which we always try to avoid.

Espionage, in my opinion, just isnt worth the complexity for what you get. In general I like having all the strategic information available and some bonus information (like what other people are researching) make nice perks to wonders and such. I dont like having to manage another aspect of the game just for what Espionage offered.

So its unlikely you will see either of those features implemented in FfH..
