Version Mismatch, Need Game Files

Hello Civilization Fans,
I have recently updated my game to the latest patch (1.0.1.705) without knowing. Steams auto update feature was on, I turned it off after I realised what happened. Nearly all my friends who play Civilization with me are Mac users and since Aspyr hasn't given out the latest mac patch I am stuck playing alone.


When the mac patch is coming?

-If anyone is willing to share his 1.0.1.647 game files (Or a copy of them) I'd be very grateful.

...ahem...nobody will do this here. Or if anyone does, he'll receive an immediate temp ban, just saying.

Sadly there's no way to downgrade the game. Your only option is to wait .

Oh, I am sorry. I wasn't aware it was disallowed.

Not a problem .
It's just that it could be seen as a "request" for piracy, that's it . There's no problem with the desire to roll back a patch, but sadly it's not possible . I also doubt that it would work in this way, since you'd probably have to validate the files again via Steam, and then it would probably directly auto-update the stuff.

Any news on when aspyr is releasing the Mac Update?

Seems they are working on it, but nothing specific yet:

Always, ALWAYS with the holiday weeks. We've got it in testing, but we have a few other things we'd like to get in a release. I don't have an ETA yet.
