Following Lockesdonkeys Article on good flags vs bad flags, I made a flag that fits the criteria, is unique, 3 simple colors (blue, red and yellow) and represents the four provinces of Civilitas.

I call this the "Civilitas Four Stars"

Vexicollogical isn't a word; maybe you're thinking of Vexillological.

That's the study of flags. I think you're just trying to use big words to sound smart. :<

corrected it, was a bit tired getting up. But what about the flag?

I dunno, but Vexillological Flags means The Study of Flags Flags.

yes, this means I abide by the rules Lockes presented in this flag.

It'd be better if the central stripes is United Nations blue and the stars white. This is for two reasons - 1. the colours hurt my eyes and 2. the United Nations blue is common among Pacific nations. Not only does it represent peace, it also symbolise the Pacific Ocean. If you really want yellow in it then maybe the top stripe could be yellow.

Maybe you are a bit light sensitive, but I love darker blue colors, like the NATO and EU flags.

I like dark blue for some reason, and dark blue is beautiful with yellow stars.
I added pacific blue on the rim sides, to signify we are in the middle of the "Pacific", but with a "great future" in the lightning stars against dark blue.

I think too fruity colors looks more like a third world nation or something too exotic for how I perceive our OECD nation. I agree pacific blue is good though.

FOUR PACIFIC STAR

Ok, I made one myself.

the green circle in blue field sybolises our lone posision in empty ocean. The four stars for four provincies are encircling hexagram no. 35 meaning "progress"

@ Provolution Looks good. I would lose the big star in the middle though it makes it look like the flag of the D.R.Congo. Maybe replace it with a symbol (coat of arms maybe? :) )

@Algeroth. Can only see a red x

Edit: Can see it now :)

Coat of Arms break the rule for "good flags" that Lockes is insisting on.

Maybe a NATO star there, or a Japanese sun, or a sun with a moon, or just two interlocked circles?

FOUR STAR PACIFIC SUNRISE

A variation of the above, star replaced with a sunrise symbol, to signify Civilitas is at the very beginning of the day in the middle of the pacific. The "Good Morning" nation in the middle of the pacific, with the opportunity to tinker with the calendar, which is true to what we are.

hehe, what good creativity here, notice the timestamp, like the nephews of Donald Duck :)

At least we agree on a sort of template, which is nice.

Yep, your colour scheme is imho very good, And i don't have any need to change it.

BTW. If Wikipedia is correct, the hexagram no. 35 is "fire over the earth" aka sunrise.

That is so perfect, as we are also part Asian, as well as Western, I really like the latest flag.

no writing on the flags?

even if it is in a different language (ie saudi arabia) it is stil unvexillological
