Question: What is this game?

This one could be very difficult, unless you can read Chinese :p

Legends of Cao Cao? Just a guess because it didn't look like a Ro3K or a Nobunaga's Ambition...for some reason I think it is a Koei game

square box thing, L, building, guy with torch, ak-47 squished by square pretzel

(this is what the symbols on the bottom right look like to me)

An old Koei game...:hmm: To bad I can not read any of that
Bandit Kings of Ancient China??
Royal Blood??
L'Empereur??
:confused::confused::confused::confused:

No, no and no. ;)

It is in the same series as Legends of Cao Cao... but this one I'm asking about, is the first one.

It gives you a chance to play Liu Bei, and either follow the history of the struggles of the three kingdoms, or if you're good enough, change it.

It is the first of the RPG/turn-based strategy series. In Chinese it is called "英傑傳". I would translate it to "Legends of Heroes of the Three Kingdoms".

I don't know of its official English name, but if you search around, you will see it being referred to as "Reko3", the name of the folder it installs into.

The game play is very similar to Super Robot Wars. In it your main character is Liu Bei, and as the game moves on you're given choices to follow history (e.g. let Guang Yu die) or change history (help Guang Yu escape in that battle, against all odds). You can play successfully and unite ancient China, or you can let Liu Bei die, and fight a hopeless fight with Zhuge Liang...

Its success created the later and more well known games... Legends of Kong Ming (Zhuge Liang), Cao Cao, etc.

:suicide:

It's open ground.

Is this the game where the chick rides the dragon? I never seem to remember the name of that game. If it is, then it's been asked in the previous thread.

Yes, by me. :D Rynn is her name. The dragon is Aarok.

It's Drakan. By the hideousness of the graphics and the wierd interface it's a non-PC version.
