umm Super Louis Armstrong: The Age of the trumpet

i kick ass at this :p

I wish I had Fallout 2 now.

I loved that game ... played many many many hours ... great fun ..... only to find out towards the end that since I did not put lots of points in the energy weapon slot I wasn't weilding strong enough weapons to finish the game.

But great game all in all!

So if you play fallout 2 puts lots of points in the energy weapons slot real early to max it out.

It can be done with Big Guns too. It's not very hard, but it's easier with Energy all the way.

Small arms work too. The gauss rifle and pistol are good for crippling/blinding enemies and very accurate even at long range. Gauss pistol with fast shot and high dexterity gives you 4 shots/turn, IIRC. If you have high criticals, most enemies die from a single shot to the eyes.

[EDIT]And here's the question. Should be easy.

You can do it with your fists as well. Bare fists or with Power Fists. Both works. :D

Unarmed skill should be over 180 at the final stage, Slayer perk is a must, as well as Dodge, and Bonus Move. Put more points into strength, agility and constitution. Quick Pockets will definitely be a plus.

You save the money for guns and ammo, to buy/make more stimpacks. Then you use the landscape to the fullest... duck around corners and such, and cripple all your enemies. They will all be blind, limping, unable to wield their big bad guns because of a broken arm, and desperately trying to cover their groin...

The matches in San Francisco and New Reno are a breeze. The San Francisco fights have a funny bug. If you knock the opponent unconcious (hit into the groin), they remain in the ring for the next match. The fun starts when you are for example fighting the final match and the unconcious are awakening. Soon you have 3-4 opponents beating you into a pulp :D.

Hint: It is from the golden era of shareware games.

My first FO2 game is an unarmed character... I mean, starting out as a tribal, tagging guns make no sense, and melee attacks are slow (and 10% less accurate). The early game is tough if I met bandits or slavers on the map, but once I got to VC and had better armor, it became very easy. By the time I reached San Francisco, I already had the Slayer Perk... which means every single unarmed strike will be a critical (unlike Ranged which you need to pass a luck roll as well). I ended up killing all but the last of my opponents in the ring (in their next round, because I was on the good side, so no killing).

Edit: To tell everyone how wonderful Fallout 1 & 2 are: I still have both FO1 and FO2 installed. ;)

Still no idea on this one... I give up! :help: :surrender:

I know this game, can I say it?

Has anyone played fallout 2 through with a "vegetable"(min intellgence)? I have and it was fun.

Getting closer . . .

Hint: Apogee
oh, my, they all looked a bit the same :ack: and right now I just can't think of any of the titles (apart from Duke, of course)...I'm sure I have that one on a lone disk somewhere in my vaults....

It's Bio Menace, i think.
If i am correct, open floor for anybody who hasn't posted a question in a while (or ever!).
