No, sorry, neither King Arthur nor Camelot is correct. Conquests of Camelot was an adventure which came out in 1989, and I played it almost ten years ago together with a friend.

EDIT: Avalon is indeed part of the name of the game. The name is "... of Avalon".

I had an insight, just before i fell asleep. "Siege of Avalon"?
Was it the game, that let you play as celts, saxons or vikings?

Finally, Till is correct! The game is called "Siege of Avalon", but it has nothing to do with Celts, Saxons or Vikings. It is set in a fantasy world where a nomadic half-orc half-human race is invading the civilized world. The seven human kingdoms unite to fight them together, and the protagonist goes to their most important fortress, Avalon, which has been under siege for several years. There he helps the humans to win and fulfills many quests.

The game plays similarly to Diablo II, but wasn't received too well by fans and critics. I played the first two of the six chapters of the game, and although it was quite fun, what annoyed me most were certain bugs and inconveniences. You had to do a lot of running about, and sometimes it wasn't clear what you had to do next. At the end of chapter two I was meant to meet someone downstairs to proceed to chapter three, but I never found him, and had no idea how to continue, so I stop playing.

So now it's either Till's turn or steviejay's, since he got the Avalon bit right and Till already asked the previous question. You two just settle it between yourselves.

I was operating under the impression, that Siege of Avalon was a online multiplayer game. Seems like i managed to mix up several similiar games and still remember the correct title.

Steviejay can ask the next question, but i would appreciate, if he felt generous and conceeded his turn to Steph. New participants should be encouraged. ;)

Day of the Tentacle? :D

I never played it far enough to talk them into including vacuum cleaner, i think.
Yes... In the present, you can take and add saying that "everyone should have a vaccuum cleaner at home", sent it in th past, put it in the suggestion box for the Us constitution, and so have a vaccuum cleaner in the future!

I loved that game, so full of funny logic!!

It is a cult classic, indeed!

Here's a new one for you:

why are there so many questions about obscure, bad games...

Because if all the questions were commonly known, modern games it wouldn't be much of a quiz.

No idea on this one though Huski. I'd ask for a clue but it's a bit early.

I'm sorry.

Never mind that remark.

With 600+ posts in this thread many games have been mentioned, it's quite difficult to come up with a new one.

+ what Kan said.

Dunno which game though.
