Except, I think there still some problems:
1. Map is too small to make accurate maps, larger means we can add fjords and stuff
2. Denmark is too thin
3. Finland is too fat
4. We can scrap Spitzbergen (the island N of norway) too add more room

Hah! It does! Make it skinnier, then? But remember we have to put a few cities. Maybe the map should be larger (like MV said (I think).) Larger map = More cities in Denamrk and everywhere else. More cities = More units More units and cities = More fun.

i looked at the original map, on the thumbnail. why is there so much of Russia? YOu could probably get away with cutting the edge of the map off at St. Petersburg, thatd leave a lot more room for you guys to make the Jutland larger, add Fjords, etc etc. Other than that I like this! You should grab that Saab 37 Viggen and the Panavia Tornado from TCW, with permission of course! (William, you ever notice how TCW is my answer to EVERYTHING?)

Erm... why is the island "saaremaa" missing from the map? :\
vikings who razed Sigtuna and along with the vikings from Finland put an end to Visby, killed 2 norwegian kings and were a real "pain in the arse" for the British, Germans and vikings in other parts of Scandinavia...

Its also the 3. biggest island in the Baltic sea... I dont understand why you have left it out?

Don't want to be a pain but you could easily use parts of this map (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47613) and use MapTweaker to add some more land in the North.
There are two versions (the other by Arne) and there are C3C versions as well.

Oh, did not really follow the discussion but Gotland IMHO definitely should be in. It can become a very strong naval basis in the center (as it did in RL).

The point is to be accurate...
whats the point of making such a scenario if you dont make it correctly... you could organize this battle scenario on a random map aswell...
you argue an entire page weather Denmark is too fat or too long and now you say - what do we care about the 3. largest island in the Baltic sea...
and how on earth is it tiny? its 1 or 2 km2 smaller than Gotland...
