Vindaloo burning up my fast workers

The Fast worker is quite a deterrent to any patriotic Indian who wants to play as their nation..being new to the forums i dont know where to place a request to create a new uu for the indians ( preferrably a new civ) . if there is already 1 can some1 direct me.

i have a few ideas.. and would be happy for anyone to expand on them

- v1 .Indian war elephant( couldnt come up with other names- i.e mahout elephant etc)
strength 8 +50 % vs cavalry
double movement through forests, jungles ( simulating the difference fof indian elephants to other elephants.. only problem highly situational)
* eligible for city raider promotion

- v2 Indian War elephant
strength 8 + 25% vs cavalry
2 movement
( could some1 dredge up the facts for hammer cost ? )
reduced cost to replicate the abundance of elephants in the region
*eligible for city raider promos

- v3 Indian war elephant
strength 9
movement 1
able to bombard city defenses( 5% per turn) - not affected by city walls castle modifiers etc

@ also another idea.. Indians used rockets in the field against the british and inflicted a terrible defeat on them- google tippu sultan
to reflect this perhaps a cannon unit

12 strength + usual cannon stats
25 % bonus against infantry?


feel free to elaborate or give sugggestions
aslo any1 have any ideas for a Unique building- i find the masoleum not very representative of india

This is the wrong place to post this it needs to go into the sticky thread at the top for request. Furthermore, you have double posted so you need to delete one of the posts.
I strongly disagree, I think fast worker although is not the strongest UU in the Game is what is implied by the name a unique unit. The fact that it is one of the only non aggressive unique units in the game is great for anybody who holds peace in higher esteem than War, In my mod I am making for Israel I am thinking about going the India route and creating a kibbiutznik to replace workers the same as India.

But hey if you want a elephant, I am sure someone will make an elephant just good luck finding ivory
